New Delhi:
Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), Dwarka, held its
28th Convocation Ceremony with great enthusiasm and pride. A total of 378
students from the 2023–2025 batch were conferred Post Graduate Diplomas in
Management. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Prof. Mahesh Verma, Vice
Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, who congratulated the
graduating students and encouraged them to uphold integrity and leadership in
their future endeavors.

During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to
students from PGDM (General), PGDM (Financial Management), PGDM (Research and
Business Analytics), PGDM (E-Business), and PGDM (Artificial Intelligence &
Data Science) and PGDM (Business Adminstration) programmes. Several students
were honoured for academic excellence, including Snehdeep Arora (PGDM-General),
Om Agrawal (PGDM-Financial Management), Harreet Kaur (PGDM-RBA), and Harsh
Gupta (PGDM-AI & DS), Khushi Kachara (PGDM – BA 23-25), Karan Saxena (PGDM
– BA 22-24) who were awarded gold medals as first prize.

 

Additionally,
Arpit Saxena, Soumya Singhal, Sohini Dasgupta, Abhyutkarsh Agrawal, and Ansh
Agrawal received the prestigious Lalita Shastri Medal for overall excellence.
Ghanshyam Aggarwal was also honoured with the Amit Chopra Medal for his
contributions to extracurricular and social activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil Shastri, Chairman
of
Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, said, “Our
institution is firmly rooted in the ideals of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur
Shastri. At LBSIM, we aim to nurture not just professional competence but also
character, leadership, and social responsibility. This convocation marks the
success of our students and the values they carry forward into the world.”

He further added, “As we all know, India has
made significant strides over the years—economically, socially, and
politically. By 2037, we are projected to become the third-largest economy in
the world. This remarkable progress has been possible because of the emergence
of a dynamic young generation excelling in economic science, engineering, and
information technology.”


To acknowledge
academic excellence and research-driven learning, the institute awarded
top-performing students in various categories. Mohammed Saif was awarded for
the Best Summer Internship Project in PGDM (General) 2023–2025, Anuvind R Nath
in PGDM (Financial Management), Harsh Rajesh Thekdi in PGDM (Research &
Business Analytics), Shivam Gandhi in PGDM (E-Business), Harsh Gupta in PGDM
(Artificial Intelligence & Data Science), Karan Saxena in PGDM (Business
Administration) 2022–2024, and Megha Srivastava in PGDM (Business
Administration) 2023–2025.

 

Additionally, the
Best Final Research Project award was conferred upon Ujjwal Kumar Singh for
PGDM (General) 2023–2025, Om Agarwal for PGDM (Financial Management), Laveena
Kateja for PGDM (E-Business), Prashant for PGDM (Artificial Intelligence &
Data Science), Shubham for PGDM (Business Administration) 2022–2024, and Khushi
Kachara for PGDM (Business Administration) 2023–2025. Harreet Kaur received the
award for Best Term Paper in PGDM (Research & Business Analytics)
2023–2025.

Dr. Praveen Gupta, Director of LBSIM, presented
the annual report and extended congratulations to all graduating students and
their families. He reiterated the institute’s commitment to academic excellence
and producing responsible leaders for the future.
